Massage

Each massage is tailored to your specific needs.  In a 30 minute session we will cover 2 areas — such as neck & back.   In 60 minutes we can do the whole body or focus on 3 areas of concern (back, neck and arms).  In a 90 minute session we can do the full body and spend extra time on areas of tension.

Pregnancy Massage

As a woman’s body changes during the three trimesters of pregnancy, a woman may benefit from massage techniques that are used to reduce nausea, swelling, muscle tension and discomfort. Specialized massage tables and positioning cushions are used to accommodate a woman’s changing body to allow her to lay comfortably face down to enjoy the benefits of a whole body massage anytime during her pregnancy. Massage is also helpful after the baby arrives to pamper mom and relieve residual aches and pains after birth or C-section. A gift certificate is a great gift for expecting Moms.

Infant and Child Massage

Children of all ages enjoy massage.
Massage therapy for children may be beneficial for:
– Boosting the immune system
– Promotes relaxation and reduces anxiety
– Easing tense and tight muscles
– Reducing headaches
– Helps with insomnia
Studies have found that massage therapy may also reduce symptoms of depression.

Cupping

Cupping is a form of bodywork where silicone or plastic cups are placed on the skin to create a vacuum suction to decompress the tissues. The cups can be used during massage to enhance the effectiveness of massage therapy. 5 minutes of cupping equals 30 minutes of deep tissue massage.
